This is my sixth year as a counselor at Sikeston Junior High School. I am availble to schedule meetings or counseling sessions before or after school, if needed, along with the counseling offered during the day to junior high students as part of our comprehensive guidance and counseling program.
I taught English Language Arts at New Madrid Central High School for five years before I began working for Sikeston Public Schools.
I currently reside in Sikeston with my husband, Vest, and my two children, Anabeth and Pierce. Anabeth attends Sikeston Middle School and Pierce attends Lee Hunter Elementary. We have a sweet “baby”, Scout, who runs the household. She is a Great Dane mix we adopted from the local Humane Society.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, reading, and swimming. We spend a lot of time on the baseball field with my son, and volunteering at local animal shelters with my daughter. We are members of First United Methodist Church.
