As a graduate from South Iron High School, I went on to complete my Bachelor’s in Education at Central Methodist University. I have been teaching for 26 years with 20 of those years in the Sikeston Junior High School.

Over the many years in education I have been trained in Positive Behavior Supports, Professional Learning Communities, Project-Based Learning, Applied Mathematics, and have completed Apple Teacher Training and am Google Certified Level One.
This year will be my 4th year as the Technology Instructional Coach. I will be helping students and staff utilize technology in the classroom to enhance and engage learning as well as helping facilitate Project-Based Learning.
My family is very important and are a large part of my life. I have one son, Levi, and one daughter, Sydney. Both are grown and I have two grandchildren, Brayden and Chrislynn.
If I am not at school or at a family function you will catch me with a good book or doing a little traveling when I can.
