I graduated from Sikeston High School in 2008 and began college at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in Cape Girardeau, MO. I graduated from SEMO in 2012 with a degree in middle school math and social studies. In 2015 I began my masters at SEMO in school counseling and graduated with my masters in the summer of 2017. In 2020 I completed 33 additional hours of education.
I began teaching at Sikeston Junior High in August of 2012. This is my 7th year at Sikeston Junior High. I taught my first 2 years as a social studies teacher and since then have been teaching honors 7th and 8th grade math.
I have been married to Phillip Warren, chief juvenile officer of Scott and Mississippi counties, since June 1st, 2012. We have 3 dogs. A goldendoodle named Mabel, a black lab named Finley, and a toy schnauzer named Hady. We also have 1 horse named Cowboy. I am currently pregnant with our baby girl, Sawyer, due in March.
I love my job as a teacher. It has always been my dream job ever since I was a little girl. Besides teaching I tutor after school and give swim lessons during the summer. I love to workout, swim, read, shop, go to the beach, go to Sikeston sporting events, and spend time with my family and friends.
