Including my experience as a substitute teacher, this is my 17th year to be involved in education. This is my fifth year at SJHS. I teach Pathways to Success, assisting seventh and eighth graders in becoming better readers.
I live in Cape Girardeau with my husband of 28 years, Doug Johnson. Doug is a counselor at SEMO University and an instructor for Moo Sul Kwan. My 20-year-old son, David, is training to be an MMA fighter. My 23-year-old daughter, Breonne, will graduate from SEMO this year and hopes to be a dolphin trainer. The love of my life is my two year old granddaughter, Alliana. I love all animals, especially cats. I enjoy traveling and being outdoors.
