Priority Standard: 7.NS.A.3 Solve problems involving the four arithmetic operations with rational numbers.

“I Can” Statements:

  • I can add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers.
  • I can write equivalent forms of rational numbers to solve problems.
  • I can solve multistep problems involving multiplication of rational numbers.


ASSIGNMENTS (Posted at 8:00 AM on Google Classroom):

 

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW IN ORDER.

 

1. Fill out the "11/20/20 Mr Savage Math Daily Student Check In."

2.  Complete "Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers - Keep, Change, Flip" in Notability.  Please show your work and don't forget to simplify your answers when needed. Turn it in to Google Classroom when you are finished.  THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FOR A GRADE.

3.  Follow the link to Quizizz to complete "Integers Study Guide."  This is a review of all the work we have done with integers in Chapter 3 over the last few weeks. Make it a goal to achieve 80% before you stop!  THIS IS FOR A GRADE ALSO.

1. Fill out the "11/19/20 Mr Savage Math Daily Student Check In."

 

2. Watch the video lesson "My Bulldog Math Lesson 4.8 Divide Fractions" while you work through it with me in your math book.

 

3. After you watch the video, do the 4.8 INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 331 #1-8. You may either write in your math book and send photos of your work to Mr. Savage on Google Classroom OR you may open "4.8 INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 331" in NOTABILITY and complete it. Then send it back to Mr. Savage by turning it in on Google Classroom. THIS WORK WILL BE FOR A GRADE.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW IN ORDER.

 

1. Fill out the "11/18/20 Mr Savage Math Daily Student Check In.

2. Complete 4.3 Practice Worksheet to review how to add and subtract like fractions.  Add or subtract the numerators, but keep the denominator the same. DON'T FORGET TO SIMPLIFY YOUR ANSWER AS NEEDED. You should open the worksheet in NOTABILITY and complete it. Then send it back to Mr. Savage by turning it in on Google Classroom OR taking screen shots of your work and turning the photos in on Google Classroom.  THIS WORK WILL BE FOR A GRADE.

3. When you have completed 4.3 Practice Worksheet, follow the link to Quizizz below and practice doing multi-step word problems. You can attempt it multiple times and should get a score of at least 80% before you stop.This is a different practice than yesterday.

2.  Watch the video lesson "My Bulldog Math Lesson 4.6 Multiply Fractions" while you work through it with me in your math book.  

3.  After you watch the video, do the INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 315-316  #1-15.  You may either write in your math book and send photos of your work to Mr. Savage on Google Classroom OR you may open "4.6 INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 315-316 " in NOTABILITY and complete it.  Then send it back to Mr. Savage by turning it in on Google Classroom.  THIS WORK WILL BE FOR A GRADE.

4.  When you have completed your INDEPENDENT PRACTICE assignment, follow the link to Quizizz below and practice multiplying and dividing integers.  This is a different practice than yesterday.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW IN ORDER.

 

1. Fill out the "11/16/20 Mr Savage Math Daily Student Check In."

2. Watch the video lesson "My Bulldog Math Lesson 3.5 Divide Integers" while you work through it with Mr. Savagein your math book.

3. After you watch the video, do the INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 247-248 #1-19. You may either write in your math book and send photos of your work to Mr. Savage on Google Classroom OR you may open "3.5 INDEPENDENT PRACTICE p. 247-248" in NOTABILITY and complete it.
